Dr. Colleen R. Mullen received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from St. George's University in 2010 and her B.S. in Animal Science from Purdue University in 2005. She grew up in the south side of Chicago and since graduation has practiced in the Chicagoland area. Her interests include integrative medicine, pain management, and feline medicine and surgery. She completed her training in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and Acupuncture at the Chi Institute in 2016 and is currently working on her certification in Herbal Medicine at the Chi University. Dr. Mullen is also a member of the American Animal Hospital Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. She is also federally accredited which allows her to write international health certificates for her patients.
Dr. Mullen enjoys traveling, listening to music, attending concerts, yoga, and gardening. She shares her life with her husband and three cats - Floyd, Buddha, and Soxxy. She joined the Urban Vet Associates team in October 2021 and is excited to be able to bring over 23 years of veterinary experience to collaborate with Dr. Torok.
