This includes routine procedures such as spay/neuter for population control and disease prevention as well as more complex procedures of the internal organs (spleen, bladder, liver), mass removals, prophylactic and emergency gastropexy (stomach tacking) to prevent/treat bloat, and biopsy of lesions for evaluation by pathology.

Surgical removal of bladder stones from a feline patient. This kitty was having painful urination and a stone eventually prevented him from using the box. Stones as small as a grain of sand can cause a blockage in a cat. Screening X-rays and ultrasound aid in rapid diagnosis and treatment.
